EMPLOYMENT LAW

Our Atlanta employment law practice is national in scope. We have been representing select individuals, small businesses, middle market companies and Fortune 100 corporations for many years in areas such as trade secret litigation, non-compete agreements, discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, EEOC litigation and whistleblower litigation. We have tried employment cases for some of the world’s largest companies not just in Georgia, but also throughout the United States. We are also Human Resources lawyers providing HR legal advice and Human Resources audits to clients. Providing employment law advice is a key component of our Atlanta small business attorney practice.  Finally, we also represent select executives and individuals in Atlanta with employment agreements, employment contracts, severance agreements and severance contracts.

BUSINESS LITIGATION

Our Atlanta business litigation attorney practice involves the representation of companies ranging from small businesses to large corporations, their owners, executives and shareholders in partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, probate and estate litigation, business torts, information protection, general litigation, negligence and real estate litigation matters. We litigate disputes involving suppliers, contractors, customers, owners and employees.

BUSINESS LAW AND OUTSIDE GENERAL COUNSEL WORK

Our Atlanta Business Law attorney practice has a distinct niche representing middle-market companies and providing advice and counsel to Atlanta small businesses in a wide array of business sectors. We act as outside general counsel to mid-size companies and small businesses that need a go-to lawyer to handle their general day-to-day business and legal needs. In essence, we perform the same services that inside general counsel provide, but at a fraction of the cost. Our work includes, for example, providing middle-market and small business legal advice regarding initial start-up decisions, negotiating and revising contracts, advising on employment decisions, revising policies and resolving disputes with individuals or other businesses.  As part of this practice we also represent individuals and entities in  Sports and Entertainment law. This work has included, for example, representing professional actors, sports agents, non-profit sports entities, and companies in disputes with public figures.

In addition to our Atlanta Business Law, Atlanta Business Litigation and Employment Law practices, The Golden Law Firm represents companies and individuals in the drafting, negotiation and litigation of non compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality agreements and other restrictive covenants in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Our Atlanta, Georgia Non-Compete Lawyer practice involves the drafting, reviewing, negotiating and litigating of Georgia Non-Compete matters in numerous different business sectors.

The Firm was founded by Atlanta attorney, Peter Golden.  Golden's practice is national in scope.  He was educated at Vanderbilt Law School, and trained at some of the most prestigious law firms in the world. He is a former “big firm” partner, having practiced for many years at one of the largest law firms in the world. He is licensed in multiple jurisdictions, provides counsel to clients in Georgia and throughout the United States.  The Golden Firm provides “big firm” service but without the normal prohibitive legal cost. We are our clients’ lawyers. But we are also their business partners. We understand our clients’ businesses and their unique situation that brought them to us; and we are proud to stand side by side with them when they need us most.
